It was great riding Mount Lemmon with you a while back. You are right about the occasional injury if you ride often enough. My only really big injury was in the Tour de Tucson when I was riding in a pack, someone dropped a water bottle, few people hit their breaks, and I touched someone’s tire and went right over at 25 mph. Had a hospital visit, concussion, stitches and a cracked scapula from that. Despite that, I’ve been biking 25 years and hope I can go another 25. I love the group rides, but also the alone time in my head on solo rides. It’s a great way to stay in shape, be in the outdoors and feel the wind in my face.
